Internship opportunities have jumped almost a third in recent weeks according to Broadbean Technology who analysed data from 36,000 job sites.
Overall vacancies have fallen by 11% whilst internships are up by 30%.
Reportedly thanks to Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley and UBS, hundreds of students will be employed this summer in career enhancing roles. This is quite a different picture to ISE research which revealed, worryingly, that more than a quarter of businesses are reducing the number of graduates they recruit this year.
