For anyone that has read any of my other posts it'll come as no surprise that I use data to form the basis of many decisions I make.
So I'm really pleased to see that 64% of recruiters rely on at least some data. But even happier to see that that should rise to around 79% in the next couple of years.
What I'm not too sure on is why it'll take that long, the benefits are truly astounding, if you're not using data already, make an effort to start.
And I'm not talking about anything scary like 'Big Data' - which no longer seems so much in vogue.
Just please bear in mind data (no matter how 'Big') is simply just numbers without insight. Insight is the key to unlocking real value. And recruiters can provide a great deal of insight.
Recent LinkedIn research shows that 64% of recruiters and hiring managers rely on data at least some of the time when making a hiring decision. Looking ahead, 79% of recruiters and hiring managers report that they are likely to be using more data to support talent decisions in the next couple of years.
